Join us for Made by Hand, our annual online membership featuring an exclusive block of the month quilt, additional patterns, and videos that bring you into our creative process.

Our 2027 quilt, Le Jardin, draws on the gardens and places we’ve visited together in France. Appliqué and patchwork come together in a design filled with details we loved creating. Each of us has made her own version, and we’ll share both to help you choose the look you love.

Each month, we’ll upload the next portion of the quilt pattern and instructional videos to our private Made by Hand Facebook group.

You’ll be able to see how we work, follow the techniques we use, and revisit the videos as you stitch. Ask questions, post your progress, and enjoy seeing the choices other members make along the way.

It’s the opportunity to make a quilt with guidance from its designers—and spend the year with others who share your love of making things by hand.

New for 2027

We’re expanding the creative side of Made by Hand with six additional project patterns and six creative video sessions, alternating throughout the year.

These sessions will explore pursuits beyond quilting, including papier-mâché and jewelry made from found objects. If you’ve collected interesting little treasures and wondered what you might do with them, or wanted to try a different craft with a little guidance, these sessions are for you.

Bonnie and I will be bringing both of our approaches and ideas to the projects we share with you.

Alongside your quilt, you’ll have something new to make or explore every month.

The private Facebook group is the home of Made by Hand. All quilt patterns, additional project patterns, and videos are uploaded there. It’s also where you can ask questions, share your work, and connect with us and fellow members.

Kit options—including Europe

Want to make one of the versions shown here? We’ll open pre orders for kits at the end of October so you can prepare for the January start.

We’ve also partnered with L'atelier du Patchwork d'Anne-Carol, a shop in France, to offer kits to members in Europe, making it easier for our European stitchers to join us.

Kits are sold separately and are not included in the membership price. We offer a limited number of kits in each colorway for those who want to make one of the versions shown. Kits are optional- you are welcome to use your own fabric and wool choices.
